Already Hired is built so the only thing that leaves your interview is a better version of you. This page explains, in plain language, what the app touches and what it keeps. It is a summary, not a contract — for the full policy, email hello@alreadyhired.app.

What we process

While the listener is running, Already Hired captures your microphone and your system/call audio and streams it to a speech-to-text provider to transcribe both sides of the conversation. When the interviewer finishes a question, the transcript and the context you provided (your résumé and the role) are sent to a language-model provider to generate the small card you see. This happens live, only while you have the listener on.

What we keep

Nothing, by default. Audio is transcribed the instant it is heard and then discarded — there is no recording of your interview and no transcript stored on our servers unless you explicitly choose to save one. Your résumé and your API keys are encrypted on your own device, not sitting in someone else’s cloud.

Third parties

To transcribe and answer in real time, audio and text are processed transiently by our speech-to-text and language-model providers and then returned to your device. They act as processors for that request; we do not sell your data to anyone.

Your control

Your local data — your résumé, your keys, any saved notes — lives on your machine, and you can clear it whenever you want. Your keys, your data, your call.

Consent & the law

You are responsible for using Already Hired lawfully. Inform the people on your call where required and comply with local rules on recording and consent (for example, two-party-consent states and GDPR). Already Hired does not record the call for you — it helps you answer it.
